Personal Identification Information Collected from Parents/Guardians/Adult Students:
Data that may be collected includes first and last name, phone number, email address, billing information, student academic information and grades, information about student interests and hobbies, and parent/guardian provided information about their child (including but not limited to any relevant diagnosis, first and last name, interests, and academic information)
This information is collected for the purpose of maintaining necessary information to provide relevant and individualized services to you or your child, bill for services provided, and have a means of contact for reports/updates/important information/or any other correspondence necessary to carrying out services provided.
Personal Identification Information Collected from Students under 18:
Data that may be collected from the student includes first and last name, academic information, grades, student interests and hobbies. Information about relevant diagnosis will NOT be collected from the student (even if the student mentions it). Relevant diagnosis information will only be collected if provided by the parent/guardian.
This information is collected for the purpose of maintaining necessary information to provide relevant and individualized services to your child and to provide reports/updates/important information to the parent/guardian.
Third-Party Data Collection:
Third-Parties that may collect personal information include Google, Wix, and Docusign. Google is the service used to provide online meeting based services via Google Meet and Wix is the website provider. Docusign is used for signing forms with verified electronic signatures. Lorntzen Learning LLC requires that you are aware and agree to all third-party rules and requirements to utilize our services.
Google:
Information collected by Google may include: personal identifiers and information that is part of your Google account, app/browser/device information, activity associated with your Google account such as search history, and location services.

Data Retention Policy:
Personal information about the student is stored for the purpose of providing services that meet the student’s needs academically and incorporate their personal interests. All information including adult student, parent/guardian, and under 18 student information will be terminated after 1 year of termination of services. Information may be requested to be terminated at any time prior. This request must be made by an individual over 18. Termination of services is defined as expressing intent to end services and/or having no future booked sessions.
Parental Rights:
Parents/guardians have the right to review and request deletion of their child’s personal information at any time. They may also refuse to permit further collection and use of information at any time.
